College of Chemistry Course Guide

Peer Advising

Peer advising is a service offered through the College of Chemistry consisting of upperclassmen in all three majors of the college. Peer advisors hold 1-2 hours of drop-in advising sessions per week for underclassmen to ask a variety of questions, ranging from advice on classes to more personal issues. We encourage anyone to come talk to us for issues that they may not necessarily feel comfortable talking about with their advisors. Additionally, peer advisors hold events that engage not only the college, such as RRR week destress events, but also the community, such as teaching younger students.

Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors are welcome to join the peer advisors. You’ll even get a cute t-shirt for free! If you are interested, please email Maya Pellum at spellum@berkeley.edu
